Wide Open
Back to my hometown. My nephew Alessio plays at the park next to my parents’ house. I seize the opportunity to photograph him and try a new setting.
For these shots I have used a lens from the analogue era: Schneider-Kreuznach Xenon 50mm f1.9, which used to come with Kodak Retinas iv as an alternative to the Xenar f2. I have used the diaphragm wide open, between 1.9 and 2.8 to test bokeh and sharpness of the lens.
